Color & Illumination I
Nature, theory, and art of color and light applied to two- and three-dimensional basic design projects. Studies using Color-Aid materials helped students understand color application in a three-dimensional space while paying attention to value, color mixing, illusion of light, and craftsmanship.
Judi Betts, award-winning watercolor artist and instructor, visited our color class for two weeks to teach her watercolor techniques. Betts’ paintings focus mainly on attention to light, particularly seen in the highlights and shadows of her watercolors, which commonly depict scenes of the outdoors.

Color themes from Color & Illumination I class applied to Studio II Convenience Store project.
