This interior design course introduces the physical components of building systems and construction methods. The course provides a systemic framework for integrating knowledge of interior building systems, regulations, standards and resources, basic physical properties of building materials, typical building construction systems, and building codes related to interiors. As a requirement, students built a model of an interior framework using post and beam construction methods.
